The Venty is pricey, but is it worth it?
This vape is $450 and was only available from Storz & Bickel at first. That’s the highest price I’ve ever seen for a portable vape, but the tech in this thing looks like it will be worth it for vapor nerds and anyone who wants stellar vapor for any style. At the time of this stream, Troy and I only had the Venty for a few hours – but at the time of this update we’ve been testing the Venty for well over a year.

Why the Venty is the Best Portable Vaporizer
The Venty is the easiest to use dry herb vape out there, and the vapor is luxurious.
This vape has a simple twist off top and funnel shaped-bowl that makes loading and unloading easier than ever. It holds as little as .05g and as much as .4g, with .25g being the sweet spot.
The temperature interface is as simple as possible, too. There are only 3 buttons. The two up and down arrows raise and lower the temperature. The side button turns the device on or off, and it can be used to cycle through the Venty’s three customizable temperatures.
The controls of the Venty fill the palm of your hand naturally and the buttons are perfectly placed for easy control.
Venty has a default startup temperature (BASE MODE) that it remembers, if you change it.
By default, the Venty starts up to 356F – too low for Troy and Jerry. We typically start at 370-380F.
It also has a BOOST MODE and SUPER BOOST – each 27F degrees hotter than previous.
These temperatures can be customized with or without the app!
About the Venty Vaporizer
The name Venty comes from three things:
- the air flow dial (like a vent)
- the 20 second heat up time
- the 20 liters per minute air flow
Venti means Twenty in Italian. The Venty Vaporizer is born.
20 seconds is a fast heat up time for a Storz and Bickel vape. It’s about as fast as any session vape I have, and might even work well for on-demand use where you take a hit and turn it off to come back to the same bowl later.
Venty has HUGE Airflow – No Restriction or Resistance
20 liters per minute (lpm) is a shit ton of air flow! For reference, most people hit a vape around 5-6 lpm. Jerry’s relaxed style hits around 8 lpm. Troy’s aggressive draws top out around 20 lpm.
Inhaling through the Venty is effortless. No other portable offers this level of vapor comfort.
The adjustable dial makes the airflow adjustable. It has 3 distinct settings.
Venty has a Dynamic Heater
Venty dynamically heats the herbs dependent on your draw speed. This is a huge technical advantage! I should be ble to take my style of hit, pass it to a friend, and watch them get the same great hit with a different style.
The Dynamic Heater provides consistent heating and maximum battery efficiency.
Top Shelf Battery Life
Venty battery is strong enough to last a full day of vaping.
It can reliably power through 10-12 bowls on a single charge. The Venty also has fast-charging capabilities and can charge fully in about 50 minutes.

Bottom of bowl looks interesting.
Looks like the bowl area is much easier to clean up. I hate that in the Mighty’s
Looks pretty spectacular. I look for vapes that Troy can’t overwhelm. That’s my gold standard for a heavy hitter. It looked to me like it met that standard when he set it to the highest airflow.

I wouldn’t hold my breath. S&B might keep sales to themselves for a few months. That’s what they did with the Mighty+.
