Switch Go – The Perfect E-Rig
After months of testing, the Switch Go wins reach tests and performs flawlessly.
Here’s what we love about the Switch Go:
- Heats Fast: ~20 seconds
- Strong Vapor with small dabs or big
- Tastes Great – all quartz and glass in the vapor path
- Portable – Easy to carry and hide
- Customizable – use the app to take full control of your dab, not just the lights.
- Upgradeable – it hits great as-is, but there are better cups, better carb caps, and better glass.
The Switch Go wins the portable e-rig reach test over other devices. It delivers the purest flavor when compared with its competitors – especially long-term.
Benefits of Atomizer-Free Design
Every single part of the vapor path is visible and can be cleaned with q-tips.
Atomizers have “blind spots” where reclaim collects and cooks with each heatup. Over time that blind reclaim builds up enough to give off its own flavor. The Dr. Dabber Switch Go doesn’t do that, as long as you’re keeping it clean. No soaking required.

Switch 2 vs Switch Go
| Feature | Switch 2 | Switch Go |
|---|---|---|
| Heating Technology | Induction | Conduction |
| Cup Size | 16.9mm x 28mm | 11.9mm x 21mm |
| Cup Material | Quartz | Quartz |
| Temperature Modes | 5 | 5 |
| App Control | Fully Customizable | Fully Customizable |
| Dabs per Charge | 15-20 | 8-12 |
Size is the biggest difference between these two e-rigs. Both run the same customizable software with five customizable temperature modes.

The Switch Go has a smaller quartz cup and it doesn’t use induction like the larger Switch 2, but the temperature performance is nearly identical.

Major Differences between Switch Go and Switch 2
- Switch Go hits like an e-rig.
The larger Switch 2 hits like a real rig and banger. - Half the size, half the battery life
Switch go can’t quite make it through a big day of dabbing. - Smaller Cup = Smaller Dabs
The Switch Go can still handle globs, but sucking too hard will pull them through. - Marathon sessions make the Switch Go hot around the top area
- Switch 2 has a physical on/off
Big Power in a Little Package
This little vape packs a lot of power. It heats up in about 20 seconds and cranks out massive vapor without losing flavor.
I have to hit the Switch Go more like a Puffco – shorter pulls and smaller dabs. I love the way this little vape hits.
Switch Go is small enough to fit in my front pocket. The full-sized Switch 2 is large enough to need its own bag.
Which Switch is Right For You?
If size and portability are your highest priority, get the Switch Go! This tiny e-rig hits hard enough to satisfy big dabbers.
If hitting like a rig is more important, get the Switch 2. The larger cup and larger glass allows a faster inhale and auto-spinning terp pearl action. The Switch 2 hits like a bucket banger and a real rig. The Switch Go hits a bit more like a Puffco e-rig.
Both devices are portable, but the Switch Go prioritizes portability. The bigger bucket of the Switch 2 has a more open hit, but its bigger body takes more effort to carry.

Dr. Dabber Switch Go FAQ
Is the Switch Go Worth It?
If you need a truly portable, pocket-sized dab-rig, the Switch Go is the best in its size and class. It’s a connoisseur’s device and it comes with a premium price tag. If you’re not dabbing premium concentrates, you may not need a premium e-rig.
Does the Switch Go use Induction?
No. The Switch Go uses a new type of heater, but it’s not induction. The larger Switch 2 uses induction.
Are Switch Go and Switch 2 glass, cups and accessories compatible?
No. Switch Go is smaller and everything it uses is smaller too. The glass is not interchangeable. The cups are not compatible, and bubble caps are not compatible.
Can the Switch Go vape flower?
No! Dr Dabber Go is for dabs only.
How hard does the Switch 2 hit?
It hits pretty hard and tastes great! It won’t replace a terp slurper for heavy dabbers, but it’s extremely capable and much more portable.
Can Switch Go handle large dabs?
It can, but it’s not ideal. I’ve seen people put half gram globs in it and it vaped forever. Switch Go is best with small-to-normal sized dabs.
Is the Switch Go the best portable e-rig of 2026?
Tough call. The Switch 2 is still better, but the Switch Go is easier to carry and hits nearly as good.
