Tafée Flaske Dry Herb Vaporizer

Hot damn…the Flaske is finally here! I just got mine yesterday. Troy’s is on its way – any day now – and we’ll update this page with more findings as soon as we’ve both had more time with it. But let’s get to it. Pics at the end…

Quick impressions


The Flaske is the Bowle in a flask body. Same heater, same pots, same vapor, but looks like a flask. Same controls, same UI/UX, better form factor. If you loved the Bowle, you’ll love the Flaske – unless what you really loved was the cup. There is no cup here.

Sessions are potent. The vapor is fantastic, and it hits at least as hard as the Bowle, if not a little harder for me. I’m three sessions in and the battery is still on level 5.

The Flaske is technically portable, but it will fill up your pocket. It’s got some weight to it and I noticed it in my front pocket.

As for charging, the Flaske has the same quirks as the Bowle. Use the supplied USB-C charger and cable – third party gear is not guaranteed to work. There is no battery cover. The battery is meant to be replaced only when it ultimately dies.

First impression…if you’ve been curious about the Bowle but the cup wasn’t your thing, this is the one. If you have a Bowle and want a pocketable version with the same, or better vapor, this is also the one.

The Flaske will fill up your entire hand.
The backside of the Flaske has the power button, or the big button on the Bowle.
Here is the Flaske from the front with the cover installed.
And from the back with the same cover. The power button is fully accessible.
On the bottom you will find the charge port and some kind of vent/intake.
Here I have removed the zirconia ceramic mouthpiece. You can see the five lights and the temp selector button to the right.
Pull away the flap to reveal the stem. The mouthpiece must come off before we pull the stem out, when the cover is on the Flaske.
The stem can be a little tricky to pull out, but you’ll get the hang of it. Reseating the stem has a very satisfying click to it.
That slot on the bottom guides the stem back into place.
This stem feels nicer than the Bowle stem.
Remove the “pot” from stem to load and unload it.
Let’s get back to the base with its storage compartment. See that white rectangle?
Take a closer look and see the images that show what it has inside…two extra pots and a stir tool / plug!
Just pull on the bottom tab of the silicone compartment to access the goodies!
The compartment can hold fresh or used pots, and that little stir tool on the right also doubles as a mouthpiece plug for travel. When you use the plug you can store the zirconia mouthpiece here.
