Bigger bowls, bigger heater, bigger hits!

Ever wanted to get higher with your Arizer vape? Step up to the Solo 3 that comes with two sets of stems (aroma tubes, stems, whatever) and water pipe adapters. One set has the original sized Arizer bowl, and the other set has XL bowls that are double the size! The original bowl holds between one and two tenths of a gram depending on how you pack it (mine is about 0.12 grams), while the XL bowl easily holds a quarter gram with room to spare.
The Solo 3 heater is a blend of conduction and convection that smacks like a beast. Couple that with the bigger bowl, and I easily get lifted!
What heat up time? On-demand, baby!
The Solo 3 heats up so quickly (10-20 seconds) that Arizer decided to add an On-demand mode. Now you can skip the full sessions and just take down one hit of vapor at your own pace.
When you start the vape up, you are asked whether you want Session or On-demand mode. If you want to sit down and take down the whole bowl, choose Session mode. But if you want to slow it down and come back to the same bowl later, try On-demand. However, make sure to remove the stem between hits with On-demand mode or the stored heat will cook through the bowl before you come back.

Respectable battery life
The Solo 3’s USB-C charge port is located on the backside near the bottom.
Arizer claims three hours of runtime with the Solo 3 on a single charge. While that is probably achievable with low demand sessions, my aggressive style netted me about one hour of runtime. In total I got 18 bowls from one charge in Session mode when set to 390F. Battery life is getting harder and harder to directly compare from vape to vape with On-demand vapes catering to all kinds of hit styles. But it’s safe to say the Solo 3 is stacked in the power department.
Portable, not pocketable
The Arizer Solo 3 is no small vape! I use the 3D Flow Aroma Stem to cool the vapor and reduce the profile.
The Solo 3 is anything but small. With the stem installed it stands at 7.5 inches tall! That’s the tallest portable vape I own. And it weighs ⅔ of a pound…you will feel that in your pocket, if it fits. Technically, the Solo 3 is only portable in the sense that it isn’t plugged in when you use it. I still don’t take it anywhere but around the house and yard, or on beach walks. It is, however, great for travel when you go somewhere for days and don’t want to bring a big plug-in vape for the trip. It hits hard enough to forego the desktop!
Easy to clean
One of the best things about the Arizer portable design is how easy it is to clean. All the mess is in the glass stems. Clean the stems and you have a new vape! But the best part is how you can clean them. Forget the isopropyl alcohol and make some weed hot chocolate! Boil your dirty stems in milk until the oils melt off and your stem will be squeaky clean. Then add some chocolate to the milk and you’ve got an incredible nightcap…these drink sessions can be some of the strongest!

One-and-Done Temp
When I want to set an Arizer vape to one temp and ride it all the way through, my favorite setting is 405F. But the Solo 3 is so aggressive that I set it to 350F to tone it down for a similar session. The flavor lasts through most of the session, and the herbs come out dark tan, not scorched.
Flavor Chaser
When I feel like flavor is all that matters, I’ll use the smaller bowl and turn the temperature down to 333F for a relaxing session.
Fast and Furious
Wanna rush through a bowl and get jacked up? Pack the XL bowl and set the Solo 3 to On-demand Mode on temp level III. I can crush a bowl in two hits, and the remains are dark and roasty.
My Favorite Session Settings
Surprisingly enough, my favorite session uses On-demand mode. I pack the XL bowl and set the On-demand temp to level II, with the timer set to 20 seconds. I can finish a bowl in three long hits without any roasty flavor, and the remains are cooked to an even tan throughout.
Solo 3 vs other Arizer portable vapes

An important distinction about the Solo 3 is that it has an extra gear that the other Arizer portables don’t. It can quickly tear through a bowl in just a few hits at higher tempertures. I can still enjoy that slow, tasty Arizer session with the Solo 3, but I have to turn the temperature lower.
The form factor is identical, and while you use and clean the Solo 3 the same as the Solo 2, I have to turn down the temp on the Solo 3 by 40F to 60F to get a session similar to the Solo 2. Sessions that would take six or seven hits to finish on the Solo 2 now only take four or five hits with the Solo 3.
Arizer Solo 3 vs Storz & Bickel Venty
Troy uses these vapes so much that I wouldn’t go anywhere else with this question. The Mighty+ has been his travel vape forever, and the Venty easily slid into that spot. But the Solo 3 hits harder and is what he reaches for around the house. When it’s time to travel, he’d rather grab the Venty because, even though it’s big, it’s more pocketable with the shorter mouthpiece.

Gonna say been watching you almost close to two years. Before that I never thought of vaping only smoked out a bong and a pipe. I love the Arizer products, the ease of loading via the straw method, and then the ease/level of maintenance they need, sets them above the S&B products for me now… which I never thought I’d say! The only thing I’d like to know though, will they be bringing out a longer charging cable for Solo III? I’ve heard that you should only ever use the stock cable, but that it’s not very long. I also want to say that I’ll never forget when I found out about avb… I was actually watching one of Troy’s videos… my mind was blown and I’ve never looked back!! 😂💪

My hope for utilizing this smoke product would be to bring it as a travel flower vaporizer to attach to my friends glass rigs, on-the-go. The older models never intrigued me too much due to the fact that the session was very long. But this Solo III seems to be something else entirely! I am a long time smoker of herb, never tobacco, and when I decided to find a healthier alternative I started watching your videos for some guidance. The vast improvement with my lung health was almost immediate. Even though it’s been a couple years now since making the change with a growing collection of vapes there is still plenty more to explore. I’ve been the proud owner of an argo, a solo 2 and even an extreme q before and when the air max came out I bought one because of the smaller form factor and removable battery, loving the arizer system for it’s glass airpath and easy meaning, thinking they’d probably never increase the bowl size or heater. Too bad since then I caught the ballvapevirus and bought a pid and injector and even an Angus enhanced for on the road. Wondering if the solo3 could earn a place amidst these powerhouses.

Great review, when you hear the name”Arizer” you know instantly it is a quality product! I have an OG Solo and still performs well. I can replace the battery when needed in the future with the DIY instruction video.The best part about Arizer is the super easy cleaning and the oven stays looking new! The glass path is a nice feature and the vape is built solid with a strong battery allowing several sessions before charging! The Solo 3 would be a nice upgrade to have! I have been interested in the Solo III for some time, but thought it wouldn’t be a big change from my TM2. That is until it was spelled out for me in a very informative video by two experts in the field, Dr Stickstones and Dr. Troy. These two virtuosos of vapor fastidiously crafted a video explaining the Arizer advancements in the Solo III, including the larger bowl, on demand and an XL stem for yes, an XL man. After receiving an education from the wizards of weed, I too would like the ability to experience sucking on a vapor titty, and would love an Arizer Solo III to be in the future for me. Cheers!

Ever since “The Vape Critic” (Bud) stopped being active some years back you guys have become my go-to and trusted source for finding out all the details one wants to know about how a particular model preforms and/or holds up against another model. Plus it’s great to know there’s others out there in the “40 and over crowd” that’s into cannabis and vaporizers much as I am!! HaHaHa!! I’ve been wanting to get a Solo III ever since they came out but seems every time I managed to about get enough saved up something unexpected comes up and wipes out all my fun funds. LoL So maybe I’ll get lucky here and get that new Solo III. If chosen I’d promise to give “Solo” a good home where it would be cherished and appreciated by being used several times a day and kept maintained so it can keep working like the beast you guys say it is!!

My very first vape was a Solo Classic. I got on discount from potv. It didn’t have the digital display even. Flavors and all glass path were great. It still functions but i’ve outgrown it. It doesn’t hit hard enough. I would like the Solo III because it would be the hard hitter that i need.

I have always enjoy my Solo 2 for its fantastic ability to give the purist flavor and it feels solid as brick. The one drawback has always been the size of the load as I have a large appetite for large free draws.

Hey guys. Is a Solo 3 a good option if I am looking for more firepower than my Pax? I was underwhelmed by the Arizer ExtremeQ desktop in comparison to my Volcano. Is the Solo 3 or a Storz & Bickel product the better option for me. I love my dynavaps for torch vaping on the guy, but I’d like a heavy hitter I can move around with I can recharge.

This seems like the best way to go as it works with all prev Arizer stems. My fav way to sesh is thru a water piece and the Solo 3 comes with everything needed to to due just that without having to purchase additional accessories.

Grew up on Arizer, and drifted off to other vapes. Never even tried a Solo I or II. The III looks fantastic and if I won the giveaway, I’d be able to afford a GoodVibesBoro stem for it to really style out!
I have really been enjoying your streams. I been vaping for many years due to health issues. I didn’t really know much about vape culture until I found you guys last year. It’s been so awesome to not vape alone. I had an arizer air, air max, and solo 2 recently bought a DaVinci as the rest were getting old had a seizure and now isn’t working the same I should have bought the solo 3 instead but wanted to try something different. Arizers have been tanks for me other than the glass tubes. You live and learn I guess. Thanks for your guys time.

With the errors on the Venty, I’m not ready to run it through a bubbler at this time. My wife isn’t going to let me purchase a Solo 3 right now, so winning such a good vape that is actually designed to be able to run through a bubbler would be awesome. I just recieved my Arizer Solo 3 v2.
I used a mighty plus and most of the time just the tempest Head on a Bong or a Simrel MVS XL, or my Dani Fusion2, Dynavaps etc. i s heard of the great hits of the solo 3. i had an Airizer Desktop many years ago and i liked the stoney high you can get ffrom that. I never found this special Profile in any other vape. But wirh the Solo3v2, its the same great stoney arizer high but on. I am a medical user and wirh it i can medicate in a perfect way. The solo went straight to the top. If i win, i would give the price to my best friend. He suffers from copd and got a cancer diagnosis lately. He trys to quit the joints for health so the solo3 would be a great way to help him getting of combustion. I realy hope i win just to give it to my best friend to help him to get well soon i hope.

This is a really great review, and I’m excited for this vape. My first “real” vape was the Air 2. I loved it so much, and I broke it. Arizers service was fantastic. I had already bought an Air Max and an XQ2 as replacement, but wanted to try and repair the Air 2, as only the screen was broken. Instead they just offered me an ArGo as replacement as Air 2 was out of production. Made a customer for life! I’ve never tried the Solo line, but I’m excited to see Arizer create a heavy hitting vape like this. Great Canadian Company!
Hey Troy & Jerry, long time fan of yours used to watch old school troy classics like ‘Late Nite SpeedBowls’ etc… bought a shovelhead flowerpot because of that video and upgraded to the baller vrod with the machined screen which i still use to this day… the crystal hammer looks and sounds awesome might be time for an upgrade…

Wow, another awesome vape. I’ve got the V1 and it works great, am a bit worried about the USB-c plug bricking it on me as I’m never sure which charging brick to use but so far no problems here, fingers crossed. If I don’t win this one I’m going to have to send it in to get the software updated!!! Thankfully Arizer has great customer service so I’m not worried about it all too much. Love this vape, so user-friendly and powerful. Good luck everyone!!
So my first vaporizer was the Ghost MV1 followed quickly by the Arizer Extreme 2. Eventually I landed on the battery free torch vapes for the last 7 years or so. Next basically because of you two and an ache for something new, I get a ball vape from Vapvanna but spend too much time traveling to set it up for a hit. I look at the hand size on the Solo 3 and the product itself and go HUMMMMM that would make my life on the road a lot easier.
I doubt the 2 of you can understand this but at 75 yo I am happy managing my tolerance with 2 Dynavap 1/2 bowl hits daily. Maybe add a Screw ball shot.Then I sit back and watch your content and see just what I am missing.

Thanks for having another Arizer giveaway! The Solo 3 would be a great addition to have knowing the brand is a top performer and built like a tank! My OG Solo still works well and I love to compare the advanced features Arizer has added over the years. It is still on my top favorite list with the ease of cleaning and tasty glass pathways. I’ve never tried any of Arizer’s products, but I’ve heard nothing but positive things about them! Apparently the Solo 3 is a huge improvement over the Solo 2 and is being called a “heavy hitter.” I’d like to be the judge of that!! 😉

I’ve watch Troy use it during his house move, using it in the hotel, showing up which vapes he took with him, I enjoyed reading his review of it, and how he uses it around the house, and was really surprised to learn that it gives you a very stony feeling, which is something I would have never expected. I know Jerry has taken it on his car journeys from his is IG reels. TBH, I have the Solo 3, and it is awesome; it is a great follow-up to the Solo 2, which I also have. The Solo 3 looks like a complete machine that I’d like to experience with its session and on-demand prowess. I do have the Argo and love the convenience of cleaning as the glass being the only contact point for material and cannot state enough how huge that cleaning convenience is, when it comes to vape maintenance! Currently have the Air Max. While it does a decent job, the unit generates a light, wispy vapor. That said, upped to the Mighty+ for a stronger vape experience.
The Solo 3 ,however from reviews, creates an even stronger punch than the Mighty. And will use existing stems from the Air Max, Solo 2, etc.
What I love about the Air Max is its very low maintenance and easy cleaning. Now you can have that same factor in a stronger, more powerful vape.

First off, thanks again for helping folks steer away from combustion, Been a Dynavap user for 4 years thanks to your show. I have a One that I only use for convenience in incognito situations nowadays, but it doesn’t scratch the itch like my dynas. Was looking at semi portable that could still effectively microdose. I was apprehensive to get a lobo, and I’m sick of the Angus enhanced debate. Even had a chat with Jerry and will probably get a solo3 whether I win or not once my funds are liquid, had to rebuild my wood staircase and vacation time is more important than a new vape right now.
