Musa 3000 Halogen Ball Vape Review
The Musa 3000 dry herb ball vape from Germany claims one-hit extraction from large or small doses without hot spots in the bowl – what’s not to love?! In the video below we go through the box contents and setup, and have a few bowls to report first impressions. Spoiler alert – it’s good!

Musa 3000 feels high class
The Musa 3000 looks and feels like one of the nicest ball vapes I own. The large handle is beautiful and seamlessly connects between the heater head and power cable. The heater head is large, with a classy logo engraved on top. And the halogen bulb lights up the heater without lighting up the room. The simple slate “pedestal” is the perfect backdrop for such a classy vape.

The stainless steel parts are expertly crafted to look good and fit together well. This is one vape I want to have out in the open to show off!
3000 balls and a halogen bulb heater
The Musa 3000’s heater isn’t a metal coil…it’s a halogen bulb! Halogen heaters have been done before, and almost always impress me with punch and flavor. This bulb is surrounded by nearly 3000 2mm glass balls inside a medical-grade stainless steel heater head. What’s also unique is the air flow through the heater head. Air flows through the entire top of the head, but only out the edges on the bottom. This may be the secret to why it doesn’t scorch the herbs.

Also of note, this vape takes 15 minutes to heat up. Once there, it can go all day, but it takes a while to get started. The power draw on the Musa 3000 is really low, though, and it’s not a problem to leave it on all day.
14mm bowl with small and large settings
The bowl that comes with the Musa 3000 is made of stainless steel and mates with 14mm female GonG joints. There are four high-temp silicone o-rings around the neck of the bowl so you can hold it. The fucker gets hot after multiple bowls!

There are two screen settings inside the Musa 3000 bowl. The small screen slots in the bottom while the large screen slots closer to the top. Either screen setting can be used to microdose. I like to use the small screen for smaller loads and a gentler cook. I use the upper screen for a stronger roast, and either configuration can hold a macrodose!
Okay included accessories
The Musa 3000 come with a few things, but I think it’s best to think of this kit as bare-bones. You’re really just buying the heater and the bowl. The stand is nice, but pretty minimalistic. The stir tool is more of an afterthought, as it’s just a curved metal stick. It comes with a bag, but I don’t know what I’ll use it for. The included power supply (vvps) has short cables, but that is remedied by the long cord on the Musa 3000 itself.

First impressions
As you can see in the video, we both really liked the hits and affects from the Musa 3000. It has plenty of power and clouds, but also preserves taste really well. This may be the low temp monster I’ve looked so long for!
As for the hot spot claims, I think they’re legit. So far, I’ve only gotten a shadow of an overcook with heavy sessions, and Troy didn’t scorch the top of the load with his normal hit style.

We’ve enjoyed both screen settings in the bowl. The lower setting keeps the herbs further from the heater for a gentler cook. When I installed the top screen, I turned the voltage down by 0.5 to get similar results.

Time will tell, but this feels like the ball vape I want out on my desk. It’s gorgeous, consumes little power, and somehow gives me monster clouds without the roasty flavor. Me likey!
