Dr Dabber Ghost 2 – A Pocket Powerhouse
Don’t look now, but Dr Dabber just dropped the Ghost 2, and it brings some of the Switch 2 magic to my pocket. No, it doesn’t have induction heat, but it has the same heat modes that mimic multiple hit styles, and it nails my favorite hit!

High tech dabs on-the-go
If you follow our content, you probably know how much we love the Dr Dabber Switch 2. It hits more like classic dab rigs than any other e-rigs that give it a shot. And the Ghost 2 brings the all-important heat modes to the road show that make my dabs complete – Ascent, Descent, and Steady modes. No one else seems to have this, but it’s a game-changer.
Basically, Steady mode is like other e-rigs – hit a selected temp and stay there throughout the dab. Ascent mode is more aggressive and slowly increases the temp after it reaches the selected temperature. But our favorite mode is Descent mode, which acts like a traditional nail that cools down after you torch it. The result with Descent mode is a flavorful dab that never chazzes!

Better form factor
For me, the Ghost 2 replaced all my dab pens (vapes like the Puffco Plus), but fits in my pocket better. The Ghost 2 is about the same volume as a Puffco Plus, but is shorter and wider, as the battery is next to the atomizer instead of beneath it. This shape feels better in my hand and pocket.

Full controls, no app
The Ghost 2 gives us a choice between heat modes, but you’ll never have to break out your phone to make it all work! The controls are simple – hold in the button to power on and off, single click to choose a temp, and double click to start a dab. Quad-click the button to check the battery level, and triple-click it to cycle between heat modes. It’s brilliantly done, as the controls build on what we already know…the controls are just like Puffco, but with extra features built on top.

Lead with flavor
The Ghost 2 was designed with flavor at the forefront. With a glazed ceramic atomizer and five temperatures with three heat modes, you can dial in exactly what you want and taste it all through a completely ceramic vapor path. It’s what I expect from Dr Dabber, as they’re known to put flavor first. The mouthpiece is a huge hunk of silicone, but it only houses the ceramic parts and doesn’t touch your vapor. That’s how silicone should be used in a vape.

Great battery life
I like to use the Ghost 2 on Cyan with Descent Mode, and I got 15 heat cycles per charge with these settings. Each cycle is 30 seconds long. Heat up times ranged from 15 to 20 seconds depending on how much battery life was left.

Less is more
At first I would load big globs and go through three heat cycles per load, but that didn’t taste great by the second cycle. Instead, I found the Ghost 2 would hit great with a smaller load that fully vaped within the 30 second session timer. So this thing has the potential to save your stash as well as get you blasted around town.
