Tempest 2 Slim – End of September

As September comes to a close we’re opening our windows and revisiting some exciting vapes that we’ve tested this month.

We recently tested two very exciting dry herb vapes – possibly the most relevant vape releases this year: The Fuji and The Crown.

Fuji is a USA made full convection vaporizer with instant heating, marvelous flavor, and a remarkable battery life. It’s built into a volcano shaped bamboo body and it has an glass vapor path. For $360 the Fuji has been blowing us away. Troy hasn’t used his ball vape in two weeks.

Tempest 2 Slim

The star of tonight’s Thinkdank is the Tempest 2 Slim.

Madheaters trimmed down the stem and body of their popular Tempest 2 stick vape and replaced the balls with a metal heating core. The Tempest 2 Slim can still be used as a ball vape, but many vaporists have been downgrading the balls in favor of a heating core.

Solid core heating offers more radiant and conductive vapor while reducing the intense convection. Stick Vapes with balls require additional maintenance as well, while solid heater cores offer a simpler routine.
