The Best Portable Dry Herb Vapes RIGHT NOW
This week on our LIVE show, we’re revising our best portable vaporizer list and considering a few potential additions. Tune in LIVE to see how the LimeLight Frolic, Pax Flow, Healthy Rips Rogue, and Dynavap G3 fit into the Best Portable Vapes of 2025.
We go live at 6pm PST. 8/15.
We won’t fluff up this list with all the options and variations. These are the best portable dry herb vaporizers available. Troy and Jerry have over 1000 vapes combined, and they’ve tested every weed vape known to man.
We hold no punches. Our opinions are not for sale.
These vapes are better than the rest, and we can prove it.

Table of Contents
#1 Best Portable Vape: TinyMight 2
Leading off our list of the six best portable dry herb vapes is the Tinymight 2. This vape absolutely smacks and is most likely the hardest hitter on this list (but it’s close). It’s expensive, at $349, and the Purple Heart will set you back $425.

This little beast is a full convection vape with superb taste and efficiency. It has Session and On-demand modes with a lightning-fast heat-up time. Battery life is decent, but is mitigated by a removable 18650 cell. The clouds the Tinymight 2 can chuck out with just a single 18650 battery are impressive. Hits are fast and full-bodied. This is the first vape I grab when I want the strongest portable vapor possible.
We love this vape because it checks all the boxes and fits in the palm of your hand. It’s massively powerful and wickedly flavorful. The Tinymight 2 is the perfect vape for many.
420vapezone ranks the Tinymight 4th on its Best Portable Vapes list, but agrees that it’s very much capable of holding the #1 position. It’s a solid vape that is hard to beat.

This vape is also available from TerpChasersClub and VGoodiez
#2 Best Vape – The Venty
The Storz & Bickel Venty earns the 2nd seat on our Best Dry Herb Vaporizer list because it has the fluffiest vapor, the most open airflow, and an impressive battery. The Venty will also set you back quite a bit ($399 before code), but it sets a new standard in airflow for a portable dry herb vape. It’s named the Venty for its 20-second heat-up time and the 20 liters per minute (lpm) air flow. You may not know what 20 lpm feels like, but it’s safe to say this vape eliminates the work most vapes require to produce vapor.

The Venty air flow is two to three times more open than any other portable vape, and it feels effortless to get high. A vape with tight airflow can feel like you’re sucking a golf ball through a water hose. But the Venty feels like you’re just breathing vapor. A new bar has been set – good luck to anyone who tries to follow!
The Venty offers a luxurious vaping experience and a simple interface. This vape is Troy’s most carried and most used portable vape, and #1 on his list. See his Venty Review to understand why he rates it so high.
It’s like a portable Volcano vaporizer. Effortless, fluffy, fun.

#3 Arizer Solo 3 – Best Flavor
Arizer surprised us all with the release of the Solo 3 (save 20% with code “troyandjerry20”), not just because it came out right after the Solo 2 MAX, but also for its enhancements. Arizer gave us what we’ve wanted for years – a bigger bowl and a faster, more powerful heater. Although it works with the original Solo stems as well as its XL stems, the Solo 3 retains that Arizer taste, even if the sessions are much faster.

The Solo 3 has a robust hybrid heating system that employs both a convection and conduction heater for intense, quick sessions that can run you over. It heats up so fast that it now comes with an On-demand mode in addition to the standard session mode. Arizer still avoids replaceable batteries, but the battery life makes up for it. The Solo 3 can go for well over an hour of runtime and deliver more sessions than you can handle in a day.
The $270 Solo 3 bundle includes two glass stem mouthpieces and two 14mm glass water pipe adapters. It’s an exceptional value that delivers remarkable performance and the purest of flavors. The Solo 3 has blown us both away.
Troy ranks the Arizer Solo 3 as his #2 Best Vapes List on 420vapezone.com.

#4 Limelight Frolic – NewKid on the Block
The Frolic from Limelight debuts at #4, and might be destined for the top of this list. It has dominated our reach tests since we got it. Imagine TinyMight 2 powered with a Storz & Bickel build and Venty air flow. Yeah, this thing punches and really satisfies any herbal appetite! Full digital controls are located on the bottom of the vape, which goes perfectly with my bubbler, and it packs a replaceable 21700 battery to go along with a USB-C charge port.

Limelight is new to the dry herb scene, and this is their first offering, and that might be the only reason the Frolic isn’t higher up on the list. We’ll give it some time to prove itself for the long haul, but this feels like a big hit! Get ready to break out your wallet, because this puppy is $400.

#5 Tafee Bowle Series 2 – Best Vapor
The Tafee Bowle Series II (use code “troyandjerry” for a free Stubby Stem with purchase) might be the finest portable vaporizer I’ve ever used. The heat-up time is instant, and the precision convection heat delivers consistent, flavorful hits that can leave a mark on your attitude! Don’t get hung up on the cup.

The cup has no vaporizer function whatsoever. It simply holds your drink for you. Give it a shot and use the two together, and you just might fall in love with this functionality! But even if you don’t like it, remove the cup and enjoy a world-class vaporizer. This vape does what we’ve wanted for years…don’t pass it by because of the cup!
The Tafee Bowle 2 makes the top of the best vapes list because its vapor is incredible, and its battery is impressive.
The Bowle 2 will serve several days’ worth of all-day usage. That’s ~40 bowls per charge!

#6 The POTV Lobo – Great Budget Vape
The POTV Lobo is easily the most affordable vape on this list, and for that reason alone requires consideration. But that’s not all…it hits like a tank! For just $159, the Lobo brings a strong punch to go along with a ton of style and versatility. Grab it in classic black, a striking electric blue, or a deep forest green.

The Lobo has earned the 5th position on this Best Portable Vapes list for its superb value and feature-rich performance.
The Lobo feature set is outstanding. To go along with punchy, tasty vapor, it has a removable 18650 battery, a low-maintenance design, and a glass attachment that connects to different stems, bubblers, and bongs. Start a vape with a dry stem and finish it on a bong in the same session without ever missing a beat.
Jerry consulted on the design of this vape, so he’s biased. Pay attention to what Troy says here, too! Troy ranks it #5 on his list of best portable vapes as well. It’s an easy vape to recommend, especially to beginners. The lobo offers a lot of bang for very little buck.

#7 Healthy Rips Rogue 2 – A Refined Classic
The Rogue 2 from Healthy Rips offers a very refined experience, building on more than five other vapes before it. It feels great in the hand, the controls are simple and complete, and the vapor is spot on. If you ever wanted more from your Fury or ONE, this vape does it with a bigger bowl that really satisfies.

The Rogue 2 moves up a spot above the Lobo on this list, depending on who you talk to. Troy prefers the Rogue because it really rewards longer hits with big punch and excellent taste. As Jerry said, the second hit off the Rogue 2 is righteous. Jerry prefers the Lobo because it delivers a stronger punch on shorter hits, at the expense of some flavor (and he’s biased). The Rogue 2 is a few bucks less at $139, and is a solid choice for anyone!

The smaller Fury 3 is $129
#8 Dynavap HyperDyn – Best Butane Vape
DynaVap listened and finally gave us a vapcap with a bigger bowl and massive punch! Introducing the HyperDyn with a hulky cap to heat that gigantic payload. The entire vape is made from titanium to keep the weight down and the cool-down time short. This is easily my favorite vapcap!

The bowl is more than twice the size of an original DynaVap, yet it doesn’t take much longer to heat up. I was also impressed with how quickly the cap cooled down after use. But the best feature is the vapor! This bigger bowl with a longer heat-up time smashes like no other. For the last couple of years, every new vapcap to come out was my new favorite, and the HyperDyn is no exception. Only this time around it feels like it’s gonna stick!
When it comes to butane vapes, there are several excellent options to choose from. Troy prefers the Stunner over the Hyperdyn and ranks the HyperDyn #13th on his list.

Planet of the Vapes also sells the Hyperdyn here for $229.
#9 – Dynavap G3 – King of the Budgets
The Dynavap G3 has set the bar for budget vapes. The G3 comes with a lighter and metal travel case for just $35! Best of all, there is no sacrifice in performance. The bowl is smaller than typical Dynavaps, but the hits are strong and tasty. The all-glass stem is perfect for flavor without roast.

The stem is a little shorter than most Dynavaps, but the ritual remains the same. Fire up the lighter, twirl the cap in the flame, and wait for the click. The lighter has a red flame that is easier to see in the day light. We really can’t see any reason not to own this vape!

Planet of the Vapes also sells the G3 here for $35.

This is for the Tafee Bowl contest
🙂
During the pandemic a friend of mine welcomed me into a group of his friends that play online together. I’ve met these guys a couple of times, but didn’t know them super well. One of these guys, who’s a bit private so we’ll call him “FJ” for now, got me interested in dry herb vaping, including turning me on to T&J! Over the last few years more days than not 2, 3, or 4 of us end up online into the wee hours. FJ and I were a common duo. He’s reserved, but very knowledgeable, and passionate about his interests. I learned a lot about vaping from him, he has particularly enjoyed his collection of Dynavaps, and primarily a trusty Arizer Solo 2. I’ve been lucky enough to treat myself to a few different vapes, and cannabis has made such a difference in my life, but FJ has been holding out to be able to get a new one that he really appreciates. One of which is a ball vape that has yet to reveal itself (lol), and the almighty “Tafee Bowl.” We’re both Canadian, and it takes a lot to impress him, but he has yet admired it from a far in my headset on the battlefield many nights. He is in love with that thing! It’s been really nice having a reliable social interaction seni-regularly, with similar minded folks, during the pandemic, and during other hard personal times since then. Honestly, if I remember correctly and you said the contest was for 2, if I could surprise him over the holidays with a surprise GOD tier vape, he would lose his mind, and I’d be 1,000% willing to donate the other one to another contest entry person. I’d love it if course, but I just treated myself to a Venty and an Ace, I’d prefer to spread the love.
I hope you consider my friend FJ for this contest, it would make his Christmas I think. And I’d be really excited to see who else you could choose instead of me for the second Tafee bowl. I hope I understood this right, I’m watching the stream right now and am pretty faded 🙂
